I'm building this myself (with some vibecoding assistance / assistants) so it's a bit of a work in progress.
Not quite sure what I'll use it for yet. Stay tuned.
I'm also pleased with the early danbot-v1. Try it out by clicking the speech bubble or danbot-v1 icon whether you selected Mac or Windows before this.
But if you're looking for the other Dan Wootton - I'm sorry to disappoint: you're in the wrong place.

I started working on this remix of This Charming Man in July last year and never finished it. Not sure why! Always loved this song.
I quite like the synth riff in here and the chopping up of with the vocals. The sample at the end is a lil playaround with the first hit of the guitar riff in the opening of the song which I enjoy. The vocals I've messed around with a fair bit and stuttered them occasionally but I think it works. I like the beginning stutter especially.
I think the beat here is why it took me to finish up probably. No beat samples in there, just made on the Alesis which left me spending ages trying to make it work. Spent a while not being able to work out why it wasn't right so I've spent some time getting that more consistent throughout. The beat is still quite busy but, again, I think it works.
Anyway, I'll stop justifying myself. Here ya go.

Made a dancey housey lil tune based off of The Futures' Breaking Up which I found recently and thought was cool. Had to finish this one up about 80% done because my file kept crashing but I though it was near enough there to put up.

Always enjoyed this classic banger, felt like doing my first full remix of it and whacking it online here. We do love a groove in this houseβ¦

New instrumental track, quite dancey and also going for a lil disco vibe with the bongos.

A lil instrumental house/dance track which I've made over a couple of short sessions as the weather gets warmer and it starts feeling like summer. Now isn't that nice?

This is an idea I worked on on a flight from Cairo to London on 26.03.23 featuring samples of Joy Crookes' Feet Don't Fail Me Now - a bona fide banger.
One I may come back toβ¦

I made this remix of Feng Suave's Sink Into The Floor across 2 flights to/from Gatwick to Salzburg in January 2023.
It's the first full remix of a track I've made, it's still quite basic as I work out how to sample well using Ableton but felt it was vibey enough to share.
Features samples from Sink Into The Floor by Feng Suaveβ¦ obviouslyβ¦
Candid Heist was a 4-piece indie rock band I was a part of, active in London, Birmingham and Reading from 2018-2019, with our final gig at Camden Assembly in November 2019.
We released 5 singles in this time, all of which I had a hand in creating. I'll post them here alongside a brief summary, and few pictures from the band for some essential visual context.
All of our music is available on Spotify & Apple Music, search 'Candid Heist'.
The first song I ever wrote and the first Candid Heist single.
Shyam and I developed the music and structure back in 2014/15 but I didn't write the lyrics for it until August 2016. We recorded the song in September 2018 and released it the following month. Undeniably our best known tune, and I had the strange experience of having the lyrics sung back to me a couple of times. Weird!
It also secured us our first BBC Introducing airplay, which I remember tuning in to from an Amsterdam hostel.
You can hear my contribution on the vocals on Claws, alongside the lead guitar that opens the tune and plays the guitar solo.
Moonflowers was our second single, written mainly by Shyam with contributions from the rest of the band, the song was developed in March 2019 before being recorded in the summer for an August release.
I play lead guitar on the track - you'll hear me somewhere.
Our third single, which I wrote music and lyrics for in March 2019 before being released in late August 2019.
Bit heavier than our usual stuff, but I always liked the solo in particular, and it was fun to play live. It never felt a staple of the set though for me.
I'm on lead vocals and lead guitar again here.
I do miss this one. A nostalgic CH tune for me. Shyam and I wrote the music over the first half of 2016 and he took the lyric. I thought the breakdown/solo for this was one of the best musical contributions I made to CH and live this was always our favourite to play, closing every set with it except for our last (due to 'technical' reasons :) ).
We should have recorded it much sooner but only got round to it in late August of 2019, releasing it in October. It was our fastest song to 1000 streams too I believe; the people said YES (in a way).
Clips of this were always super fun as well because the outro was primed for live performance, so I'll end this post with a snippet of the outro to this at The Spice of Life in London in September 2019. It always was the closerβ¦
The last song we wrote as Candid Heist. I wrote a backing track demo for this in summer of 2019 then showed the band at a rehearsal that they liked and we fleshed out.
I didn't have any lyrics or ideas for the lyrics so Joe said he had an idea and came round to mine one day to brainstorm. He was interested in this guy who kept coming in to the pub he worked at and was just loathed by all. Unfortunate! I had similar stories from working in pubs so we chatted about that for a while and wrote the first verse together. I wrote the rest of the lyric over that week and then we recorded it almost immediately in September 2019.
It came out the day before our Camden Assembly gig in November 2019 after premiering on BBC Introducing in Berkshire a few days before.

Below is my dissertation submitted as part of my MSc Politics and Communications degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science, exploring strategic communications in humanitarian organisations - focusing on the Oxfam Haiti scandal.
This work was awarded a 68, and was submitted in August 2020, after a disjointed academic year affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Palifico round: once set, bid face cannot change this round.
Perudo is Liar's Dice. Each player has hidden dice; ones are wild.
On your turn, place a higher bid or call the previous bid.
Call reveals all dice. If the bid is true, caller loses a die. If false, bidder loses a die.
Palifico triggers once per player when they drop to one die: ones are not wild and the bid face cannot change that round.
