This Charming Man 2024

I started working on this remix of This Charming Man in July last year and never finished it. Not sure why! Always loved this song.

I quite like the synth riff in here and the chopping up of with the vocals. The sample at the end is a lil playaround with the first hit of the guitar riff in the opening of the song which I enjoy. The vocals I’ve messed around with a fair bit and stuttered them occasionally but I think it works. I like the beginning stutter especially.

I think the beat here is why it took me to finish up probably. No beat samples in there, just made on the Alesis which left me spending ages trying to make it work. Spent a while not being able to work out why it wasn’t right so I’ve spent some time getting that more consistent throughout. The beat is still quite busy but, again, I think it works.

Anyway, I’ll stop justifying myself. Here ya go.
